Matan Gur Nelson (b. 2006) is an Israeli pianist studying under Prof. Kirill Gerstein at the Hanns Eisler School of Music in Berlin. A former member of the program for highly gifted young pianists at the Jerusalem Music Center, he has won first prizes at the Pnina Salzman Piano Competition, Piano Forever, and the International Piano Competition in Orbetello. For this recital, he presents works by Janáček, Scarlatti, Franck, and Prokofiev.
