Sù! Live at Paris Philharmonic
Νοσταλγική, αργή βραδιά classical
221 Av. Jean Jaurès au 6e étage, 75019 Paris, France
Les Cris de Paris and the L’Immédiat company explore the works of Monteverdi through the lens of dance. This collaborative project creates an imaginary ballet that bridges the sacred and the secular, featuring a blend of solo vocals, polyphony, and instrumental brilliance. Inspired by the emergence of dance in 17th-century Italian courts, the performance highlights Monteverdi's innovative use of dramatic movement to express deep emotion. Directed by Geoffroy Jourdain alongside Camille Boitel and Sève Bernard, the ensemble brings a joyful and virtuosic physicality to the composer's madrigals and pastorals.
