Dear dancers, This Tuesday We are happy to announce that Kaap will transform into a stage for Ecstatic Dance every other Tuesday. This is an invitation to immerse yourself in a world of music, dance and free self-expression in a unique free space in Amsterdam (With free parking). A place to be yourself and to connect with yourself and with each other. Tuesday program Ecstatic Dance Kaap from 18:45h – 22.15h 18:45h Doors Open - 19.45h Doors Close 18.45h Walk-in + Sauna (until 21.45h) 19:15h – 19:45h Opening - Exercise to leave your head and go into your heart 19:45h – 21:45h Dance 21:45h – 22:15h Veggies and/or Fruit, Walk-out Ecstatic Dance Guidelines: Ecstatic dance is a magical dance and music journey on a two-hour set by one of our DJ’s. It is both a journey with yourself and with each other, without talking. This allows you to go deeper into your body and make more and better contact with it. This is one of the essential differences with a normal dance or club night. Because you do not fall into talking or chitchat, you can literally end up on another layer or in another dimension and discover other parts of yourself and others. At times even in total ecstasy and bliss, without drugs and without alcohol, and barefoot. Free to dance alone or together. Will you come and create magic with us, play and experiment?
