Late Late Electronic with Horatio Luna
Underground βραδιά nu jazz
Horatio Luna returns to Ronnie Scott's to celebrate the release of his new album Ciccin on 22a. An Australian multi-genre bassist, producer and composer, Luna has built a prolific catalogue of releases spanning jazz, broken beat, house and hip hop. He is a founding member of the 30/70 Collective and has collaborated with artists including Jaubi, Tenderlonious, Alexander Flood and Jitwam. Blending modal jazz, free jazz, hip hop, house and broken beat, Ciccin is driven by deep grooves, adventurous improvisation and a restless rhythmic energy. Performed live, the music moves effortlessly between genres while remaining rooted in the collective interplay at the heart of Luna's sound. Every Friday and Saturday night from 11.15pm, Ronnie Scott’s presents the Late Late Show, where some of the UK’s finest jazz talent takes to the stage for a late-night blowing session. A DJ will play sets before and after the live sets.
