Will Brahm’s music evokes the melodic sense of guitarists like Jeff Beck, paired with the lush harmonic landscape of ensembles like the Pat Metheny Group. Known for his innovative approach to the Stratocaster, Brahm creates a rich world of sounds that extends beyond the traditional trio format. His recent work can be heard on the album “Distance to Empty.” A Los Angeles resident and semifinalist in the 2019 Herbie Hancock International Jazz Guitar Competition, Brahm has been touring with jazz legend Arturo Sandoval since 2019. His background includes studies at Cal State Long Beach and performances with the New West Guitar Group. This event features Brahm's unmistakable voice on the electric guitar in an intimate setting.
