Matt Skeaping's Vital Organs ft Jenny Howe
Originally a South London instrumental jazz trio, The Vital Organs expanded their repertoire to include pop standards from the 1960s to today alongside original compositions after joining forces with vocalist Jenny Howe. The group features organist Steve Ashworth, guitarist Easel Kandola-McNicholas, and drummer Matt Skeaping. Jenny Howe is a highly accomplished singer with a diverse background that includes performances with the BBC Big Band and Shakatak, as well as extensive credits in film and television. Drummer Matt Skeaping brings global experience to the project, having performed in the US and Asia with numerous acclaimed jazz musicians. Both Ashworth and Kandola-McNicholas are alumni of the Guildhall School, contributing a high level of technical skill and experience to this entertaining ensemble.
