Acclaimed Brazilian percussionist Valtinho Anastácio brings the vibrant sounds of Brazil to Zinc Bar. Born in São Paulo, Valtinho is a master of diverse percussion instruments including congas, pandeiro, berimbau, and more, often using his voice to bridge rhythm and melody. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with legendary Brazilian figures such as Milton Nascimento and Djavan, as well as international icons like Ryuichi Sakamoto and Jaco Pastorius. Since relocating to New York City, he has continued to perform with an extraordinary array of artists across the jazz and world music spectrum.
