Hailing from Manchester, Pale Waves were formed by singer Heather Baron-Gracie and drummer Ciara Doran during their time at the renowned BIMM music university. Joined by guitarist Hugo Silvani and bassist Charlie Wood, the band quickly rose to prominence through the Dirty Hit label. After their 2018 Top 10 debut 'My Mind Makes Noise', which featured a melancholic 80s-inspired synth-pop sound, the group explored rauer, pop-punk territories on subsequent albums 'Who Am I?' and 'Unwanted'. Their 2024 release 'Smitten' marks a return to their melodic dream-pop roots. With over 500 global performances under their belt, from Glastonbury to supporting Louis Tomlinson, Pale Waves are celebrated as one of the most compelling live acts of their generation.
