The quintet The Aggrolites was formed in 2002 by vocalist Jesse Wagner and organist Roger Rivas. Blending Kingston reggae with Motown soul, the Los Angeles-based group established themselves as leaders of the "dirty reggae" sound. After a period of heavy touring and five albums, they entered a long hiatus following their 2011 release. They returned in 2018, capturing the raw energy of skinhead reggae by recording their album REGGAE NOW! in just one day.
