Llandel Veguilla Malavé, known as Yandel, is a renowned Puerto Rican singer and songwriter born in 1977. He first rose to fame in 1998 as part of the influential reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel. The pair achieved significant mainstream success with their Gold-certified 2001 album "De Nuevos a Viejos" before Yandel explored a solo career starting with "Quien Contra Mí" in 2003. After a period of immense success with the duo through the 2000s, Yandel focused on his solo projects again in 2013 with the release of "De Líder a Leyenda." He remains a dominant force in the reggaeton and Latin music scene, celebrated for his high-energy live performances and studio work.
