Alden Hellmuth is a New York-based saxophonist, improviser, and composer whose debut album, Good Intentions, received international acclaim including Debut Album of the Year at the Deutscher Jazz Preis. Mentored by Herbie Hancock and Ambrose Akinmusire, she blends traditional foundations with experimental practices. Her work focuses on authentic expression through freedom and intuition, living within dissonance and emotion. In addition to her own projects, she has performed and recorded with artists such as Herbie Hancock, Dianne Reeves, and Moses Sumney. This evening features a 10:30pm set followed by an 11:30pm session.
