Live Coding Sessions 11: Live Instruments at Doka Amsterdam
Underground βραδιά algorave
In Live Coding Sessions: Live Instruments, the live coding setup extends beyond the laptop by introducing instruments such as drums and guitars. Rather than simply adding sound, these instruments become embedded in the performance through machine learning and shared systems where performer and code continuously influence and amplify one another. Live coding, or Algoraves, involves music and visuals being coded live in real-time. Performer-coders adjust rhythm, pitch, and visuals by changing algorithmic compositions on shared screens, inviting the audience to explore how each element is crafted through code.
