A special Cumbia event bringing together two diasporic Latin American collectives based in Amsterdam. Cumbia Libre and Carmela Collective unite to present an evening of cumbia and electronic Latin sounds. Featuring Conjunto Media Luna, led by musician and producer Iván Medellín from Medellín, Colombia. On his European tour, Medellín brings distinctive accordion-driven sounds from Montes de María, reimagining traditional melodies through synths, samplers, and drum machines. Throughout the night, local DJ acts from the Latin diaspora provide the soundtrack for the dancefloor.
