Nono García Trio & Ester García
Underground βραδιά jazz
Nono García is more than a flamenco guitarist; he is a musical traveler. Born in Barbate, Andalusia, he grew up in the heart of flamenco culture before his studies in Granada opened doors to jazz. He blends flamenco with jazz, Arabic sounds, Brazilian influences, and world music. A pioneer of this fusion, his work is characterized by subtle and personal writing, nourished by multiple influences and a great artistic sensitivity. Recipient of the Premio Flamenco Hoy for his album Atún y Chocolate, film composer, and collaborator with many artists on the Spanish scene, Nono García has established himself as a singular and respected figure in contemporary Spanish music. On stage, his guitar tells stories, evoking Andalusian nights, Mediterranean spray, and cultural encounters. Accompanied by longtime companions François Garny on bass and Bilou Doneux on drums, each note transports the audience on an intense journey of virtuosity and authenticity.
