Phil Doleman brings his love of vintage blues, swing, and jug band music to the stage, breathing new life into old classics and obscure gems. Performing with just his voice, ukuleles, and banjos, he recreates the atmosphere of 1920s juke joints with driving rhythms and a stomping foot. His original songs blend seamlessly with traditional material, often being mistaken for long-lost standards. A respected performer and educator, Phil has toured across the UK, Europe, and the US. He is a regular contributor to Uke Magazine, an author of several instructional books on the ukulele, and has even designed a signature model instrument. His live performances are noted for their high energy and top-shelf stage presence.
