Acclaimed singer, songwriter and actress Grace Jones is known for her unmistakable voice and androgynous look. She had a string of hits throughout the 70s and 80s with tracks such as 'Slave To The Rhythm' and 'Nightclubbing'. During the 70s Jones became a fixture on the international club scene and was often seen at New York City's famed nightclub Studio 54. Sophie Ellis-Bextor shot to fame as a vocalist on Spiller’s huge number one single 'Groovejet' and followed it up with 'Murder on the Dancefloor'. Her solo work has taken on a new direction with influences from Kate Bush and Ed Harcourt. Soul II Soul have been producing memorable quality music since the late eighties, selling over 6.8 million albums globally. Known for their 'Funki Dred' style, the sound system turned recording artists are famous for hits like 'Keep On Movin' and 'Back To Life'.
