The Award-winning Japanese singer Yuko Yokoi arrived in London to complete her Masters in Jazz at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance...and never left. On graduation she received the TCM Trust and Archers Scholarship and since that time, has performed at numerous renowned London venues. Yuko’s debut album ‘Verde’ expresses her absolute love of both Brazilian and contemporary jazz music, describing her approach as “full of improvisation and musical shades of light and colour in a minimalistic style.” A lovely, atmospheric show for a Sunday afternoon.
