Six festival days begin as every day should: a light breakfast with freshly squeezed juice, a warm croissant, and a cappuccino, followed by one of Johann Sebastian Bach's six cello suites performed by a different soloist each time. After 10 editions, the 'holy of holies' of the cello repertoire is being slightly expanded. The six cellists have been asked to add a short solo work in the context of the festival theme Shifting Borders to the concert. This event is part of the Cello Biennale Amsterdam.
