Yachtley Crew, also known as "The Titans of Soft Rock," is a seven-piece Southern California band that ignited a nationwide Yacht Rock craze. Since their emergence in 2017, the group has transitioned from local club favorites to a nationally recognized act signed by Jimmy Buffett's Mailboat label and later Earache/Universal Records. Their performances are defined by nautical suits, captain’s hats, and a dedicated revival of soft rock and Top 40 hits from the late ’70s to early ’80s. The band's recent work includes the Seas the Day EP and the upcoming Seas The Night album, produced by the acclaimed Chris Lord-Alge. Their repertoire features classic covers like "Lido Shuffle" and "Ride Like the Wind," alongside original tracks such as "Sex On The Beach" and the Billboard-charting "Pain Of Losing You," written by Diane Warren. The 2026 tour introduces new lead vocalist Ian Ward, a Broadway veteran and American Idol contestant, joining long-time members on drums, bass, guitar, saxophone, and keyboards.
