Almanaque
Led by Italian-born, London-based guitarist Luca Boscagin, Almanaque is an international ensemble bringing together outstanding musicians from Brazil, Italy and the UK. Inspired by the music of Milton Nascimento, Clube da Esquina and the tradition of Brazilian jazz, the band blends lyrical melodies, sophisticated harmonies and infectious rhythms into a vibrant contemporary sound. At the heart of the group is a powerful Brazilian rhythm section featuring Matheus Nova, Raphael Delfino and Jansen Santana, whose deep connection to Brazil’s rhythmic language provides the foundation for Almanaque’s music. Joined by acclaimed trumpeter Quentin Collins, the ensemble creates a dynamic dialogue between Brazilian, African and jazz influences, combining virtuosity with warmth and spontaneity.
