Singashore is a place with an invented name, representing a vision of a landscape in burnout or an ancestral body preserving the past. This evolving performance project by Collettivo Nebulæ addresses modern isolation and the way the body absorbs and reacts to a constant bombardment of imagery. Through spasmodic and irrational movement, the performers explore the risk of paralysis in the face of contemporary hallucinations. Within the closeness of bodies and the force of nature, the piece seeks the potential for a new beginning. Collettivo Nebulæ is an international group of dance makers founded in 2022, focusing on research and mutual support across Italy and the Netherlands.
