Sisema & Shakkalo

A special release party to celebrate the launch of Sisema's debut EP, Traces. Over two years in the making, the project merges diverse cultural influences, blending Malian and Lebanese heritage with Anglo-French pop and folk. The performance features a unique soundscape of soul, pop, and rock, brought to life through a variety of instruments including djembe, guitar, piano, and drums, paired with intimate and socially conscious lyrics. Opening the evening is singer Shakkalo, who will guide the audience through her melancholic world of folk and electro-pop. The venue, Les Disquaires, is a dedicated space for listening, dancing, and discovery where respect is paramount and discriminatory behavior is not tolerated.
