Yuko Mabuchi & Michael Paulo
Classically trained in Japan from a young age, Yuko Mabuchi discovered the excitement of jazz, R&B, hip hop, and blues during her teenage years. Her musical journey led her to Los Angeles, where she connected with top mentors and began performing at premier venues like Walt Disney Concert Hall and major festivals including Monterey Jazz. Her sound is a genre-defying fusion of her classical foundation with jazz improvisation and vibrant Caribbean and Latin influences. With seven albums to her credit, her discography includes the live recording The Yuko Mabuchi Trio and the award-winning Tribute to Miles. Her recent projects, Quantum and Ethereal, continue to explore the harmony between jazz and classical forms, reflecting her belief in the oneness of musical expression. Mabuchi's performances are noted for their emotional authenticity and ability to create a universal language through rhythm and melody.
