Hurray for the Riff Raff is an indie, folk, and Americana musical collective founded in 2007 by Alynda Lee Segarra. Originally from the Bronx, Segarra's background in the hardcore punk scene and experiences hitchhiking across North America inform the group's sound. Based in New Orleans, the project combines folk-blues with country influences. The ensemble has released several acclaimed albums, including the self-released Young Blood Blues and their major label debut Small Town Heroes. This performance is part of the Lincoln Center's Summer For The City festival.
