Chilled Queer Ceilidh
Queer, χορευτική βραδιά folk
Everyone is welcome at this Chilled Queer Ceilidh, an inclusive afternoon of dance led by Queer Folk. This event is specifically adapted for comfort and inclusivity, featuring gender-free calling where participants are encouraged to dance with anyone they choose in any role. No previous experience or partner is required as you are guided through each dance at an inclusive pace. To ensure a calm and accessible atmosphere, ticket capacity is significantly reduced, sound levels are lower than typical events, and house lights remain on for better visibility. The event includes longer pauses between dances, a dedicated quiet area, and a extended 40-minute interval for rest and refreshments. Hosted by the English Folk Dance and Song Society (EFDSS) and Queer Folk.
