Tim Whitehead is a highly acclaimed UK-based saxophonist and composer, known for his work with Ian Carr’s Nucleus, Graham Collier, and the influential big band Loose Tubes. A recipient of the BBC Music Magazine Jazz Album of the Year and the Andrew Milne Award for Jazz, he was also the first musician to serve as Artist in Residence at Tate Britain. His performance style is noted for its creativity, passion, and technical mastery.
