Silent Green Open Lab is a performance series dedicated to Berlin-based musicians and artists making their debut on stage. This edition features Shu and Frieda, an artistic duo whose project The Mani explores the cultural engineering of language through the lens of 90s Cantonese romantic pop ballads. By transforming oral tradition into processed sonic landscapes, they examine memory and cultural assimilation. Also performing is GLTR Mauer, who creates genre-fluid music drawing from shoegaze, video game soundtracks, hardcore punk, hyperpop, and 90s house. The performance follows the release of his debut album, Nerd Machine Vol. 1.
