YOCOYA is a Los Angeles based 5-piece Latin jazz fusion group. They perform original music inspired by the sounds of Mexico, Cuba, American blues, and the Modern Jazz era. Their vision is to blend the harmonic and improvisational concepts of jazz with the rhythmic and melodic phrasing of Latin American music, resulting in compositions that are cinematic, sophisticated, and melodically driven. The group's music has been featured in independent films and on KCRW's Just Jazz radio series.
