The Boneshakers

The Boneshakers were born from a connection between guitarist Randy Jacobs and singer Sweetpea Atkinson in 1980. Their collaboration helped define the sound of Was (Not Was) and eventually led to the formation of their own project in the mid-90s. Following the passing of Sweetpea Atkinson in 2020, Randy Jacobs has continued the band's legacy through a new collaboration with singer and Blues Hall of Fame member Jenny Langer. The group remains a force in the music scene, blending blues and soul with a high-energy delivery that has spanned over twenty-five years of performance and recording.
