Troussova: Ensemble intercontemporain at Paris Philharmonic
Αργή, underground βραδιά classical
221 Av. Jean Jaurès au 6e étage, 75019 Paris, France
To celebrate the centenary of György Kurtág, the Ensemble intercontemporain performs one of his major works created under the direction of Pierre Boulez. "Messages of the late Miss R.V. Troussova" was the piece that revealed the composer to the French public. A true monodrama, the work takes its source from the work of a Russian poetess living in Hungary, Rimma Dalos. As part of the ManiFeste Festival, this masterpiece of vocality is surrounded by three creations, including a piece for ensemble and electronics by Márton Illès and a work for solo flute by Tobias Feierabend.
