At Limehouse de Reverie, Ewan Bleach performs with residents The Cable Street Rag Band. Formed at the Cable Street studios in Limehouse, this old-style jazz ensemble specializes in rags, blues, song-book foxtrots, and swing. Their diverse repertoire also includes waltzes, beguines, tangos, and polkas, with all music dating from the 1850s to the 1940s. The performance draws on influences from the wider Manouche tradition, Django Reinhardt, and Eastern European Klezmer styles, alongside classic swing hits from the legendary Barry Sisters.
