Rebet Asker was a legendary restaurant and music venue in Piraeus that hosted the greatest Greek musicians of the 20th century. This series of afternoon gigs at Green Note, now in its 10th year, aims to recreate the magic and history of Rebetiko music as it evolved over the last hundred years. The event is the longest-running series in London dedicated to this genre. Attendees can expect to hear classic songs and lesser-known gems from iconic Rebetiko musicians including Vamvakaris, Tsitsanis, and Papaioannou.
