My heart is extraordinarily full after seeing Honeyjoon, a meditation on grief that is tranquil in its entirety, hilarious to the point that I was in tears and falling out of my chair, and places you into a pool of overwhelming and at times, unspoken loss. And as a sucker for films about mother/daughter relationships, there is a perfect balance here that pairs so well with the tone that I couldn’t stop gushing watching the entire film. Grounding in a lot of ways that was so needed right now, easily will be a favorite of mine for 2026, no question there!
