"What the hell is that? Gross! Stomp on it!"Much like the original, honestly very little clue wtf happened in this but it's a huge win for people who love watching silly and disgusting little intricately hand-crafted stop motion guys with exposed butts get into hyper-violent anime fights with each other. At one point cannibalism is referred to as a "Cool Ceremony", a guy presses the trigger on a revolver handle and a retractable sword blade shoots out, multiple characters go into alternate dimensions where entire histories and civilizations are played out in order to create a space-time loop/mech suits (the detail about our good pal Junk Head who we all know and love stoking the flames of discrimination and war to progress his timeline is insane), two guys literally eat a (blurry) dick-shaped “mashroom.” I would watch 10 more of these.Further discussion on ep 399 of my podcast SLEAZOIDS, as part of our TIFF25 coverage.
