I’m a huge KatyCat who actually saw The Lifetimes Tour live and then saw this premiere at Tribeca. The film allows you to truly appreciate the gritty, sci-fi, apocalyptic vision Katy had for the tour, as well as experience up-close her humor, musicality, and charisma. It reminds us that Katy Perry truly is one of the greats. The “Rise” sequence was the highlight - musically and visually. It was extremely moving to be in a room full of fans singing along to songs that have given us all so much strength and motivation throughout the years — and on top of that to sing them with Katy there in the audience singing with us. Love you Katy!!
