Been meaning to log this since July. I had such an amazing time at this screening... my best theatrical experience of 2019. I honestly can say that Lady Terminator is one of my favorite films... not a guilty pleasure or "so bad, it's good" sort of love... no, this is other level. It's so bat shit crazy that I consider it one of a kind and a vital part of the genre film canon. Got to watch a 35mm print of this film at the Billy Wilder Theater at LA's Hammer Museum. The American Genre Film Archive (AGFA) and the UCLA Film & TV Archive presented a double feature of Lady Terminator and Sister Street Fighter. This film needs a restoration. Hopefully AGFA can find the funds to do so. In my eyes, the only reason this is not spoken about on the level of Plan 9 or The Room is the lack of exposure in home entertainment - only a small US DVD release after its grindhouse theatrical run. From IMDB trivia: Barbara Anne Constable performed her own stunts in this film. Moreover, production was shut down for a month after Constable's ankle was skewered by a large shard of glass. Constable remained on full salary during this time in which she was stitched up at a military hospital and eventually regained her ability to walk.I have a pristine one-sheet of the US poster. Someday I'll get Barbara Anne Constable and director H. Tjut Djalil to sign it. Watched at Billy Wilder Theater at LA's Hammer Museum
