A damning and incredibly haunting look into the mechanics of the Israeli war machine and their systematic displacement/murder of innocents. How those pushing the buttons justify it to themselves, taking comfort in being cogs in a wheel that will find someone else to turn it if they don’t. Bone-chilling stuff. Revealing about how governments can exploit us psychologically to commit horrendous atrocities, made easier by our ability to hide behind screens and tech. There’s nowhere to hide from the truth that comes out in this film. No manipulation of narrative-crafting needed by the filmmakers.Abraham and Szor find something cinematic in these images overlooking Tel-Aviv at night. Watching people comfortable in their homes as soldiers discuss destroying homes in Gaza. Shielded by the propaganda on their televisions.
