Forth film in the Tazza series and this one brought some interesting layers compared to the previous entries. You have two friends that built a successful online casino business. They are down to the wire to close a deal which both are not seeing eye to eye on but Jang Taeyoung (Byun Yo-Han) convinces his partner Park Taeyoung (Roh Jae-Won) to go with is lead even with the massive risk attached if it doesn't work out. Eventually it did work out, massively for the company and that's were things start going downhill not from a company point of view but envy and jealousy from Park towards Byun. We get treated to a few flashback sequences throughout the film giving more insight on both their upbringings. From hardships from one them to pure luck with the other, and boy does the film establishes that right away.The film starts of dark but after 30mins it finds its balance shifting back and forth from a crime thriller and drama. Playing heavily into Byun's luck and Park's constant wants of validation and the film try's its best to justified why he is the way he is. Felt it could have been a little tighter on that front with his flashbacks but is fine. The underworld aspect with the Yakuza and other crime syndicates added more into the themes in what money does to people and the ones that achieve that level in the underworld and the enemies they made along the way might be closer than they think. Solid film and it feels like two films in one, not very heavy in the gambling aspect but the training and the character driven journey for revenge is what I enjoyed.Thanks to WellGo for the opportunity in watching the film.
