watched in 4DX, which i do think is probably akin to the experience of being in war. extremely disorienting experience, further complicated by me repeatedly trying to take a sip of my drink just before the chair shook and splashed it in my face. the person next to me showed up 30 minutes late, told me i was in her seat (one seat off) while the chairs were rocking like crazy, pulled a meal out of her bag, ate it, and then left 20 minutes later. the couple on the other side of me was talking a lot, but it feels insane to try and shush someone as if their talking is distracting you from the experience of whale stink being wafted into your face. i think every movie should be in 4dx.very claustrophobic movie. austin abrams is a movie star. josh brolin's great. the whale is forever.
