Petri Poikolainen
Petri Poikolainen (born 1975 in Pieksämäki) was a Finnish actor. He graduated from the Helsinki Theatre Academy in 2000 and worked as an actor, until he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2008, which led to his blindness. Poikolainen was forced to quit his job at the Helsinki City Theatre in 2011. Prior to that, he had worked as an actor in Seinäjoki City Theatre and in Teatteri Eurooppa neljä. Poikolainen played the lead role in Teemu Nikki's film The Blind Man Who Did Not Want to See Titanic (2021) for which he got a Jussi Award for the Best Actor in 2022.
