Come get a taste of South Slavic gathering cut out especially for experimental electronics and vocal ear delicacies. Welcome to post-processed ExYugoslavia, where juicy diasporic dreams come together in one place and play with new and old experiments. This first one is special - sound acts asking for an intimate listening setting fused with a reading performance on queer Balkan pasts, a drawing exhibition and zines+prints showcase. katarina kadijević, (ID~)entity work in progress, is a temporary state, which likes to seek and look in-into-at different kinds of communication mechanisms, ways, possibilities, connections with the space, place, plants, animals, objects, human. Delusion of time. Layers in between. Inhabiting my body, I communicate through movement, voice, poetry, performance. Tisa Neža Herlec aka Tisa World (1996, Ljubljana) is a multidisciplinarian whose practice weaves voice, language, print-making, performance, composition and collective endeavours. She loves to share her methods of creation and empower collective art-making and publishing, often within the context of performative arts. Senka Milutinović was born in 1999 in Belgrade, Serbia and is a researcher, writer, and multimedia designer based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The format of their work varies anywhere from organizing nomadic reading clubs to experimental radio shows, to interactive printed matter and digital storytelling. Their work bridges the gap between the personal and political, by publishing about urgent social matter in experimental ways. Karmen Ponikvar is a Slovenian sound artist, currently studying music at the Institute of Sonology in The Hague. Through microtonal sonic structures, sculptures of spatial imaginaries and speculative philosophies of perception, she explores the intimate relationships between sound, space and place. > This event is kindly supported by gemeente Schiedam
