LISTENING SESSION Date: 31-03-25 Time: 19.00-22.00 Entry: RSVP, Pay-what-you-can We are very excited that one of the veterans of the Rotterdam record shop scene - Hans van Hoffe - is making his way to Koda for a 3-hour listening set. On a monday, because that’s what he preferred. So why not? For more than 30 years he has been running a record store in the center of Rotterdam. It has been dubbed ‘Hans Tweedehands’ by locals even though that’s not the actual name of the shop. But it doesn’t matter, as soon as Rotterdammers decide on another name for something, that’s what it is. Located on the Provenierssingel directly behind the central station, Hans Tweedehands is truly hidden in plain sight. There are no signs outside indicating that it’s a store, just tons and tons of records in boxes and piles both inside and outside. This makes it difficult to find that one record you’re looking for, people might say. But Hans is there to help you find that one record you did not want before, but now you do. Hans will take us on an improvised 3-hour ride through his extensive collection. Hop on.
