Amsterdam Roots Festival 2025; A day where music, stories, movement and connection come together. On Sunday 6 July, Amsterdam Roots Festival returns to Oosterpark with a free programme for all ages. Across multiple stages and spaces in the park, there’s room for music from different corners of the world, circus theatre, dance, storytelling, workshops and activities for children. The programme brings together artists, musicians and storytellers who each share something in their own way. With performances by Bia Ferreira, Leenalchi, Bahghi and Trio Da Kali, circus theatre and workshops by Circusbende, performances by BECOMING, and Native Moons — closing the day with music, dance and a shared sense of freedom. You’ll also find contributions from local partners like Prisma. Whether you're coming for the music, the circus, a conversation or just to wander across the bazaar, there’s plenty to explore. The park is easy to move through, with wheelchair access and quiet spaces for anyone who needs a pause.
