Hommage au Golden Age Hollywoodien Concert de lancement - Album Exile To Hollywood (NoMadMusic) Au début du 20e siècle, l’antisémitisme des régimes totalitaires pousse de nombreux compositeurs juifs d’Europe centrale et orientale à l’exil. Fuyant pogroms et persécutions, ils s’installent aux États-Unis – nouvelle terre promise – et rejoignent Hollywood. Des musiciens comme Max Steiner, Erich Wolfgang Korngold, Franz Waxman, Miklós Rózsa, Bronisław Kaper, Irving Berlin ou Dimitri Tiomkin y imposent leur style. Formés à la musique savante européenne, ils la mêlent à la culture américaine et au jazz. Entre héritage du « monde d’hier » et modernité, ils façonnent la musique de film et marquent durablement le Golden Age (années 1930-1960).
