La Symphonie n°4 de Gustav Mahler est un chef-d’œuvre de grâce et de poésie qui déploie une orchestration d’une finesse exceptionnelle. Entre danses populaires et élans de tendresse, l’œuvre se conclut par une vision enchantée du paradis. Le programme inclut également un extrait de la Passion selon saint Matthieu de Bach, dans un arrangement original d’Othman Louati. Fondé en 1994, l’Orchestre Impromptu réunit environ 100 musiciens amateurs passionnés de haut niveau sous la direction de Marion Ladrette et Othman Louati.
