this is why i don’t talk to my neighbors
A love letter to everything you love about the Slasher genre without once ripping it off-it instead washes you in the comfort of everything you grew up on- And while this is not a perfect film, it is the birth of a superstar-Get ready for Sandy-She is an absolutely insane bat shit, crazy phenomenon, and you will fall in love with her….
SXSW 2026 - Movie 10American Dollhouse is a slow burn slasher film that builds to a wild and unforgettable finale. This pays tribute to a lot of slasher movies you’ve seen and love but creates its own memorable moments and villain…Sandy. This movie lives and dies on the performance from Kelsey Pribliski as Sandy. It may not work for everyone, but if you buy into her character, you’re going to have such a great time with this movie. There is one moment in this movie that is truly unforgettable. While it may be flawed, I think American Dollhouse will become a sleeper, cult classic for the right audience.
