A lot of people on here who (understandably) aren't able to see this through the LDS lens it needs to be seen through.Calling it pro-wholesome-small-town propaganda, scoffing at the ineptitude of the cops investigating the outsider construction crew or the jack mormon bar scene, or finding the porn addict, when that's actually the ENTIRE point and critique of the culture. As with any genre of minority cinema, this just might not read for you, and that's okay!Growing up in a rural mormon community in the 90s through early 2000s, and this movie felt True. It isn't perfect, but it's maybe the closest we ever got to a serious artistic examination of this particular slice of our culture.And I grade on a curve to myself, so suck it! 9/10!
