Een gewelddadige, energieke actiefilm.
In 1970s Detroit, John Miller falls for a local gangster's girl and lands in prison for a crime he didn't commit. With his life ruined, Miller plots revenge against the man who took his girl away.

lab engineered Dad Movie
The soundtrack was solid, but that's honestly where my praise for this film ends. The movie has little to no dialogue, and I genuinely don't understand who thought that was a good idea. It's 2026, not the 1920s. Instead of feeling like a bold or creative artistic choice, it comes across as a substitute for actually writing compelling characters and dialogue. The silence rarely adds tension or emotion. It mostly makes scenes feel awkward and strangely uncanny. The biggest problem is that I never cared about the characters or the narrative, which is absolutely essential when you're making a film this dependent on visual storytelling. If you're going to strip away dialogue, everything else has to work overtime to keep the audience invested. This movie never does.Outside of a decent soundtrack, I was bored for almost the entire runtime. I can't say I connected with anything it was trying to do, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
