A fine and well made courtroom drama. Loved the performances of rajkumar and Jaideep. Not a great performance of rajkumar, but a good one after a long time. Wamiqa and rajkumar as a grandparent hard to believe. The 1st half was stretched, 2nd half was good, the emotional scenes hits, and I liked it. Family drama parts feels unnecessary. They could make easily a strong and hard hitting film on the topic like 26/11, but they failed. An above average film.2026 movies.
This was a good and well-made film. Though there wasn't anything pathbreaking, they presented the courtroom drama accurately, as far as I know.Some liberties that they took for the sake of emotional impact were the best part of the film; the portrayal of Kasab's psyche and the father-son drama was good. There really were so many people in the theatre criticizing the defence lawyer and making remarks, but the film really gave them an answer: people don't know that having a lawyer is a constitutional right; whoever you are, you will get a lawyer.I loved the moment when Kasab heard Azaan and was shocked that Indians celebrate Eid.2026 Releases Ranked
Follows the trial of the devil himself in bombay high court in the summer of '09 to '10, where human rights and human values stood in contention to one another, a very meticulously woven screen play complimented by the garganteous screen presence of rajkumar rao, A technically well made film however I felt the defense lawyer kazmi and his immediate assistant's relations could've been better fleshed out.
