Sia Beigi

Born in Tehran, Iran. I started music when I was 18 playing techno, house and minimal music. Growing up in Ukraine and Russia, electronic music is ingrained into the culture and has had great influence on my productions. At 18, I started my way up DJ’ing for universities in Ukraine. Shortly after, by 20, I played at clubs all across Ukraine and Russia. At that point, I started the study of producing house music. In 2007, I was booked at KaZantip Music Festival that took place every year from 1992-2013 on the Crimean Peninsula which is styled around house and electronic music. From 2007-2009, I was the resident DJ playing on Radio KissFM Ukraine. I taken few years off from DJ’ing to also pursue and put all my focus into education. In 2016, I had moved to LA. I started producing and DJ’ing deep house music and to be closer to my origins, I had taken notes and vocals of classical Iranian songs and merged it into my own style and releases. My first release was called “Feelings” mixed with one of Khosrow Shakibai’s songs. I was a resident of Le Jardin from 2018-2020. At the same time, I was booked at Hyde, Nightingale, Warwick, Skybar, Yamashiro, Civic Center Studios, Avalon, Time Nightclub & Liaison.
